Reflections™ Memory Care Program

The care they need, the comfort you deserve.

The Reflections™ Memory Care Program has been designed to help encourage independence and a feeling of dignity, all within a safe and secure environment. The Reflections™ Memory Care Program takes a holistic approach to memory care, with activities and amenities meant to stimulate the mind, body and spirit. Here, it’s about choice and a feeling of empowerment, with the goal of helping residents live their best lives in a warm and welcoming environment designed to feel like home, no matter their changing needs. Because without comfort, there is no care.

“Here, it’s about peace of mind knowing that your loved one’s comfort and needs are met through expert care, progressive insights and trusted relationships every day”

A Sense of Purpose

Carefully designed to promote a sense of choice, happiness and comfort, interactive life-stations tap into past habits and activities that are familiar to residents using varied therapeutic techniques. These help residents to establish roles and routines in a supportive environment and sets them up for success by encouraging self-directed activity in their day-to-day lives.

Community Living

Residents enjoy fresh, chef-made meals and family-style dining that encourages social engagement and a feeling of community. Indeed, it’s not unusual to see residents, staff and family members enjoying a meal together. This creates a sense of inclusion, built on trust and familiarity – the bedrock of memory care.

Family Matters

We know residents’ care and support extends beyond their suite. This is why the Reflections™ Memory Care Program is focused on providing detailed and consistent communication to family members from the very beginning. With a dedicated contact, families can be involved in the day-to-day care and service of their loved ones, and can be provided with access to information, additional dementia-specific educational resources, and support groups for families and caregivers.

Recreation and Choice

Here, residents are afforded a wealth of choice when it comes to recreational activities and on-site amenities. The Reflections™ Memory Care Program offers a wide selection of both therapeutic and personalized programming – everything from gardening, reading and baking clubs, to music, art therapy, and fitness. The Reflections™ Memory Care Program provides a neighbourhood-specific weekly calendar that works in tandem with the monthly residence-wide Active Living Calendar. This allows inclusivity amongst the greater community, as well as resident specific programming catered to their distinct needs.
