Terms and Conditions
Subject to the terms and conditions set out herein (the “Terms and Conditions”), new customers who have served (or who have an immediate family member who serves or has served) as a member of i) the Canadian Army, ii) the Royal Canadian Navy, iii) the Royal Canadian Air Force, iv) Special Operations & National Defence, and/or v) the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (each, a “Resident”) who move into a Cogir Senior Living (“Cogir”) Retirement Residence in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario, or Newfoundland (each, a “Residence”) between December 1, 2023 and December 31, 2024 (the “Term”) will receive their third month of residency free of Accommodation Fees and Hospitality Fees as defined in the Residence’s standard form of Residency Agreement (together, the “Fees”), (the “Offer”):
This offer is conditional upon:
a. the Resident entering into the Residence's standard form of Residency Agreement during the Term;
b. the Resident taking possession of the rental suite at the Residence during the Term (regardless of whether the Resident takes physical occupancy of the suite during the Term); and
c. the term of the Resident's residency lasting at least three (3) months from the date the Resident takes possession of the suite.
The third month free of Fees will be credited to the Resident’s account on or about the first day of the third full calendar month of the Resident’s possession of the suite, in a manner satisfactory to Cogir in its sole discretion.
The LiveWell Care Theme Fee and Optional Services Fee are not included in this Offer.
This Offer is non-transferable and has no cash value. It is a stand-alone offer and is not valid in conjunction with any other offer.
This Offer expires on December 31, 2024, unless terminated earlier by Cogir in its sole discretion.
This Offer does not apply to existing Cogir residents.
This Offer does not apply to (i) licensed Designated Supportive Living suites at Residences in Alberta; (ii) licensed Residential Care suites at Residences in British Columbia; or (iii) Cogir Senior Living Retirement Residences in Quebec or the United States.
This Offer may only be redeemed once by (i) an individual or (ii) individuals sharing a rental suite upon move-in.
These Terms and Conditions, including the Offer, shall be deemed to be incorporated into the Resident’s Residency Agreement and, to the extent there is any conflict, these Terms and Conditions shall take precedence. All capitalized terms used but not defined in these Terms and Conditions have the meanings set out in the Residence’s standard form of Residency Agreement.
By accepting this Offer, the Resident represents that he/she has read and fully understands these Terms and Conditions and agrees to be bound by them.
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the laws of Canada applicable therein.
