At 95 years old, I know a thing or two about what it’s like to get a little bit older. Of course, I’m the same person I’ve always been, but like all seniors, I recognize that my needs have evolved. That’s just natural.

We all come with our own stories, our own interests and our own needs. For many of us, the toughest part is trying to figure out where, and how, to best spend our time. Does it make most sense to stay in your own home, or to move into a retirement residence or long term care? What are the costs? It’s confusing. Someone needs to tell it like it is.
That’s why I’m so pleased, as Revera’s Chief Elder Officer, to introduce Real Talk On Senior Living
One of the first things we discussed when creating this guide was that it has to be as objective and impartial as possible. And it needs to be written in a way that everyone can understand — you, your family, anybody.
One thing you won’t find in this guide is a definite answer on what you should do. We’re here to help you along the journey; to act as your friend, your trusted advisor, and to answer your questions and to help guide you along.
Let’s get started.
