Glenora Park 2023 Move-in Offer
Terms and Conditions 

General 

1.    Subject to the terms and conditions set out herein (the “Terms and Conditions”), the Moving Solutions 2023 Move-In Offer (the “Offer”) is made available from August 14, 2023 to October 31, 2023 (the “Term”) to new residents (each, a “Resident”) who move into a suite at the Glenora Park Retirement Residence (“Glenora Park”) during the Term. 


Offer Eligibility 

2.    An amount of up to five thousand dollars (CAD $ 5,000) (the “Credit”) will be paid on the Resident’s behalf to the moving and/or downsizing company of the Resident’s choice (the “Company”)or credited to the Resident’s account to be applied against Accommodation and Hospitality Fees only[1] (at the Resident’s option), provided all of the following requirements have been satisfied in Revera’s sole discretion:

(a)   The Resident must:

i.    be eligible for retirement living at Glenora Park (i.e., primarily 65 years of age or older and eligible based on satisfaction of Revera’s required health and/or care assessmentand/or Alberta Health Services’ required health and/or care assessment, if applicable);

ii.    enter into Revera’s standard form of Residency Agreement for residency at Glenora Park during the Term;

iii.    take possession of the suite during the Term (regardless of whether the Resident takes physical occupancy of the suite);

iv.    reside at a Glenora Park for at least three (3) months;

v.    enter into an agreement with the Company for the provision of packing, moving downsizing and/or organizing services (the “Services”) during the Term;

vi.    provide Revera with an invoice from the Company for the Services during the Term; and

vii.    not be an existing or previous resident of Revera (i.e. must not have taken possession of a suite at a Revera retirement residence or long-term care home prior to the Term).

 

Credit Payment 

3.    Provided all of the Offer requirements listed above have been satisfied in Revera’s sole discretion, the Credit will be paid to the Company on the Resident’s behalf, or the amount of the Credit will be credited towards the Resident’s account with Revera, within 45 days of the date that an invoice is provided by the Company to Revera for the Services. 

4.    In no circumstances will the value of the Credit exceed five thousand dollars (CAD $5,000).

5.    The Resident shall be responsible for all other payments which may be owed by the Resident to the Company in connection with the provision of the Services or otherwise.

 

Offer Conditions

6.    The Offer is non-transferable and has no cash value.

7.    The Offer may only be redeemed once by (a) an eligible Resident or (b) eligible Residents sharing a suite at an Eligible Residence.

8.    Unless otherwise agreed to by Revera in its sole discretion or explicitly set out herein, this is a stand-alone offer and cannot be combined with any other Revera offer, contest, incentive or rebate. The Offer is combinable with the “Pick Your Perk” Offer.

 

Termination 

9.    Revera reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, amend or suspend this Offer, or to amend these Terms and Conditions in any way without prior notice or obligation, for any reason whatsoever.

10.  The Offer expires on October 31, 2023, unless terminated earlier by Revera in its sole discretion.

 

Acceptance

11.  By participating in or accepting this Offer, the Resident represents that he/she has read and fully understands these Terms and Conditions and agrees to be bound by them.

 

Entire Agreement

12.  These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement between each of the Resident and REVONE WESTMOUNT LP, by its general partner, REVERA ONE CLIFTON GP INC., operating as Glenora Park concerning the Offer and shall take precedence over any other materials promoting or advertising the Offer.

13.  These Terms and Conditions, including the Offer, shall be deemed to be incorporated into the Resident’s Residency Agreement and, to the extent there is any conflict, these Terms and Conditions shall take precedence.

 

Governing Law

14.  These Terms and Conditions and the Offer shall be governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the laws of Canada applicable therein.

Terms and Conditions

 

General

1. Subject to the terms and conditions set out herein (the “Terms and Conditions”), the Pick Your Perk 2023 Move-In Offer (the “Offer”) is made available from August 14, 2023 to October 31, 2023 (the “Term”) to new residents (each, a “Resident”) who move into a suite at the Glenora Park Retirement Residence (“Glenora Park”) during the Term.

 

Offer Eligibility 

1.    An amount of up to five thousand dollars (CAD $ 5,000) (the “Credit”) will be either (at the Resident’s option):

(a)   paid on the Resident’s behalf to the furniture retailer of the Resident’s choice (the “Furniture Option”);

(b)   provided to the Resident in the form of a voucher for Air Canada or WestJet (the “Travel Option”);

(c)   paid on the Resident’s behalf to a technology company of Revera’s choice for a technology package which would be sourced and installed by Revera, free of charge (the “IT Option”)[1]; or

(d)   credited to the Resident’s account to be applied against Accommodation and Hospitality Fees only[2] (the “Account Option”) if applicable;

provided all of the following requirements have been satisfied in Revera’s sole discretion.

 The Resident must:

(a)   be eligible for retirement living at Glenora Park (i.e., primarily 65 years of age or older and eligible based on satisfaction of Revera’s required health and/or care assessment and/or Alberta Health Services’ required health and/or care assessment, if applicable);

(b)   enter into Revera’s standard form of Residency Agreement for residency at Glenora Park during the Term;

(c)   take possession of the suite during the Term (regardless of whether the Resident takes physical occupancy of the suite);

(d)   reside at a Glenora Park for at least three (3) months (the “Minimum Term”); and

(e)   not be an existing or previous resident of Revera (i.e. must not have taken possession of a suite at a Revera retirement residence or long-term care home prior to the Term). 

In addition, if the Furniture Option is chosen, the Resident must provide Revera with an invoice from the retailer of the Resident’s choice during the Term, and if the IT Option is chosen, the Resident must confirm their preferred technology package during the Term. 

 

Credit Payment 

2.    Provided all of the Offer requirements listed above have been satisfied in Revera’s sole discretion, the Credit will be paid to i) the furniture retailer of the Resident’s choice, if the Furniture Option is chosen, ii) the Resident in the form of a voucher, if the Travel Option is chosen, iii) the technology company of Revera’s choice, if the IT Option is chosen, or iv) the Resident’s account with Revera, if the Account Option is chosen. 

3.    This payment will be made within 45 days of the date that i) an invoice is provided by the furniture retailer of the Resident’s choice to Revera if the Furniture Option is chosen, ii) is the last date of the Minimum Term, if the Travel Option, the IT Option, or the Account Option is chosen.    

4.    In no circumstances will the value of the Credit exceed five thousand dollars (CAD $5,000).  The Resident shall be responsible for all other payments which may be owed by the Resident to any other company in connection with the option chosen and the use by the Resident of the Credit or otherwise.

[1] Any equipment that is hardwired into a suite and cannot be readily removed without causing damage shall become a permanent fixture of the suite.  The Resident shall not be permitted to remove such equipment upon vacating the suite, and the Resident shall not be entitled to any compensation for equipment that cannot be removed.

[2] The Credit may not be applied against LiveWell/Care Theme Fees and/or Optional Services Fees.
