Employees from Revera’s QEW Region in
southern Ontario organized the first-ever
Celebrating Memories golf tournament.
Seventy-three golfers hit the links at the
Lowville Golf Course, driving more than
$14,000
in donations to the local Alzheimer
Society.

A sea of Revera-blue T-shirts dominated
the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba’s Memory
Walk. A team of more than 200 walkers from
residences in the area made the sun-filled trek
together, raising a jaw-dropping
$21,182.

A local firefighter guest starring as caller
heated up the annual bingo fundraiser at
Meadowlands retirement community in
Medicine Hat, Alta. The real winner was the
local Alzheimer Society, which was the lucky
recipient of the more than
$560
raised.

The team at Bridlewood Manor in Brockville,
Ont., added a bit of sweetness to their Health
and Wellness Expo, auctioning off 26 donated
pies and raising
$1,275
– winning the local
Alzheimer Society’s “Coffee Break Challenge
Cup” for largest donation.

Ice cream floats and baked goodies meant
the sweet smell of success for the bake
sale fundraiser at Portsmouth retirement
community in Winnipeg, Man. Raising more
than
$520
for the local Alzheimer Society was
the icing on the cake.
