“My Second Home”In 2000, when Tracy was starting her career, she found work as a night shift caregiver at an assisted living residence in Oregon. “At 20, I thought it would just be a job; 10 years later, I was running the building. This is my second home.”
Her progress, says Tracy, shows how opportunities open up at Revera. Over the years, she was trained in everything from the kitchen to housekeeping to activities. She took on increasing responsibilities, eventually rising to Assistant Executive Director, and then to Executive Director in 2010.
“It has been an amazing experience,” Tracy says. “Revera promotes from within first, always looking at the internal team. They believed in me and moved me up – and I’m not stopping!”
