  1. Where and how is the food prepared?

    All meals are prepared fresh daily by on-site chefs ensuring balanced, delicious and nutritious fare. A registered dietitian approves menus, and our chefs use only the highest quality ingredients.  

  2. Are there menu choices?

    Residents select their favourites from a menu, but if you can’t find an option that suits your palette, our Chefs are happy to take special requests. 
     
    Along with the daily variety, there are themed menus for holidays and favourite seasonal fare.

  3. I have a special diet. How will this be handled?

    Our director of culinary and dietitians accommodate many special diets. We work with our residents to understand their food preferences and to ensure that their needs are met.

  4. What is the typical fare?

    There’s nothing typical about dining at a Revera residence. Our culinary teams offer nutritious and appetizing selections, and plenty of variety so you can always find something to suit your palette. For an idea of what home cooking means in your new home, check out a sample menu.

  5. How are meals served?

    We offer flexible dining times with meals served by uniformed, professionally trained staff, as part of our restaurant-style dining experience. Many residences are fully licensed and serve wine with dinner.

  6. What if I feel like a snack?

    Residents enjoy refreshments and tea times throughout the day.

  7. Can I have a guest stay for a meal?

    Family and friends are always welcome at Revera residences. In addition to the beautifully appointed dining rooms, some residences include private dining areas for entertaining guests, as well as kitchens or kitchenettes in the suites. You can also hold special celebrations, and work with our dining staff to create a special menu.
