Our History

Revera’s proud legacy stretches over 50 years. Our first home opened in 1961 and since then, we have become one of the leading providers of seniors’ accommodation, care and services in Canada and the U.S. Here’s how we’ve grown.
  • Formed in 1961 as Central Park Lodge Residence in Winnipeg, Manitoba, the company grew across Canada under the Central Park Lodges (later CPL) name
  • CPL entered the U.S. market in 1998, and with further expansion, was renamed Revera in 2008
  • Revera acquired Comcare in 2011 becoming one of Canada’s largest home care providers
  • In 2011, Revera celebrated 50 years of touching the lives of seniors
  • In 2012, Revera acquired Brunet Health Care Group in Montreal expanding its presence in the province of Quebec
